Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, commonly known as TU Cricket Ground, is the most iconic and important cricket venue in Nepal. Located in Kirtipur, near Kathmandu, this ground is considered the heart of Nepalese cricket and has witnessed the country’s rise on the international stage.

Established in 1998, the stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 25,000 spectators. It is the only international-standard cricket ground in Nepal and regularly hosts ODIs, T20Is, and major domestic tournaments. Many historic moments of Nepal cricket, especially against associate nations and full members, have taken place here.

The pitch at TU Cricket Ground is known to assist spinners, especially as matches progress, while early on it can offer decent help to seamers. The electric crowd support makes it a challenging venue for visiting teams.
